35 Weeks + 5 Days
The time is moving very quickly! Today I am having more Braxton Hicks contractions. I am getting a bit worried as the time goes on because I might have the baby soon, like within the next two weeks. I’ve been doing some reading on Braxton Hicks contractions and trying to see how to help alleviate the pain and discomfort associated with them. I’ve been told you can switch the position you’re in if you’re laying down or resting, drink some water, take a walk, rest if you’ve overexerted yourself. Tomorrow I have two appointments, one is for the NST which is basically fetal monitoring for people with medical conditions, and then a follow up with my OBGYN after that.
I am planning to talk to her a bit more about these Braxton Hicks I’ve been experiencing. I’m hoping to at least make it over the 37 week mark because I still have to take maternity photos and my baby shower falls on the weekend of my 37th week! Tomorrow will be all about monitoring baby and checking on how she is doing. Here is an article about Braxton Hicks if you’re wondering more about them.
