37 Weeks + 7 Days

So it looks like I will actually make it to 38 weeks with this pregnancy! This morning started off with some heavy single contractions as I got up for my morning pee. I can’t really sleep comfortably anymore so I will just get up earlier than usual now, and then if I still feel tired and am able to lay down comfortably I will try and go back to sleep. However I think this is my body getting me ready for when baby is here, and I really don’t mind. This actually allows me to get more done in the day anyways. I mostly cleaned today and did not leave the house at all. I knew I had to tackle something else I had been wanting to tackle in the house for a while now which was my kitchen.

I had finally found these cabinet risers from Dollar Tree and decided I was going to use them in my bathroom and kitchen to help with vertical spacial issues. I was able to make enough space to clear out the whole bottom section of one of the cabinets where I keep my pots and pans and also another separate cabinet where I plan to keep more of my kids things like bottles, plates, bowls and cups. I was able to make enough space with the help of only 4 risers. That’s only $4 bucks! I was honestly surprised at how something so small could make a huge difference. I will have to show pictures of the end result, and it’s a shame I didn’t take any before photos but you’ll get the idea once I add the photos here of how I might have had the set up.

After this I had been getting ready to sit down and eat my lunch when I had a scare thinking my water might have ruptured again, but no it was just a false alarm thankfully. I was waiting to see if I had felt the contractions, you’re supposed to have them 5 min apart for one hour before going in so I started counting but they eventually stopped. I am still feeling that stretching pain or opening of the pelvic area. I also had forgotten to mention that I was already 2cm dilated at my appointment so I’m wondering if this means I’m still dilating or not. We ended the day spending time with family and having tacos for dinner. 😋
