36 Weeks + 7 Days
I woke up today to go pee at around 4 am and I felt the sharpest of pains. I made my way to the bathroom and while walking back to the bed I kept feeling the pain. I sat up in bed because I couldn’t lie down or else I would feel the pain more and more. I literally stayed up since 4 am because of the pain I was feeling every hour since waking up. I then got up out of bed around 7 am and used the restroom again to find blood on the toilet paper but it was like dry blood. I then messaged my OB to let her know what was going on. I was told that if I kept having contractions that were 5 min apart for one hour to admit myself to labor and delivery. Luckily I didn’t keep feeling the pain. However I did notice the dried blood throughout the day so I just took it easy the rest of the day. I finally got my husband to bring down the newborn clothes from the garage and I’ve washed everything and it’s currently drying. With that done I feel at least one step closer to where I need to be before baby girl comes.
I also made the first batch of soaps for my baby shower party favors! I really enjoyed doing that process and it was super fun so I’ll probably continue to make these as holiday gifts or just for fun! Here is everything I used to make them.
Bee & Honeycomb Soap Mold | Holds 2lb of soap base
Goats Milk Suspension Soap Base 2lb | This was super easy to use, I’ve never made soap before and they turned out nice. (See photos below)
Shea Butter Suspension Soap Base 2lb
Joann Fabrics also has a soap base that comes in a 5lb pack but I’ve never used it. Check it out here.
Soap Dye for bath and body bases
