Hello and welcome to my blog! I am a mother of two beautiful little girls. I originally started my YouTube channel to talk about my high risk pregnancy and help other parents find baby deals and freebies but also to help others feel a little less alone in the parenting world. We all know motherhood can be tough and I am here to help with advice from experience along with being here for anyone who needs a mom friend. My life as a mom began in early 2018 right when I was at the top of my career, I was working as a front end web & graphic designer for a luxury home goods company. I found out I was pregnant and in the middle of my pregnancy I was diagnosed with Type One diabetes.
The idea of my YouTube channel was born when I was about 26 weeks pregnant and newly diagnosed with T1D after taking the glucose test. My pregnancy was considered high risk for two reasons, one being that I was recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and the second being that I was diagnosed with Uterus Didelphys. Both can cause complications in pregancy so I decided to film my journey to the best of my ability. I also enjoyed exploring new baby brands and spreading awareness about tried and true products on the market for parents out there. So that’s when I continued to film unboxing videos and talk about my pregnancies. I am always reading up on the latest and greatest things when it comes to the parenting world. I created this blog to help those such as myself who had many questions and concerns as new parent. I hope this blog and my YouTube channel can inspire or help you in some way. Who Am I?
Well for starters my name is Amanda. I’m a 90’s babe born in October which makes me the creative, yet indecisive Libra Sign! I studied Graphic Design and Media Arts & Graduated with my Bachelors Degree in the summer of 2016! I enjoy many things in my free time such as gaming, photography, shopping, thrifting and a newfound hobby of mine, crafting. Most of all I really enjoy being a mom, there is really no other feeling in the world quite like it.
